1 Pinpoint can fail if the text you are pointing to contains too much html code like links or unusual characters such as dollar signs, dashes or letters with accents. The best balance is to select 3 or 4 words at the start of a sentence or paragraph you wish to pinpoint, which preferably don't contain any unusual characters.
2 Ensure you are pointing to a series of words which is unique on the page. Pinpointing a single word will result in several pinpoints, one above each instance of the word.
3 Don't try to pinpoint too many words. The more you pinpoint, the more chance of your Pinpoint not working.
4 If the pinpoint you are trying to create is still not working, it could be that we're just not compatible with the code sitting behind that website yet. Please send us some feedback about it to hiccups@pinpnt.info telling us the link and phrase you were linking to, so we can see the problem for ourselves and help get it fixed.
