Pinpoint is a link shortening service which works much the same as other link shortening services. Pinpoint also allows you to point to and comment on a specific part of a webpage, such as a sentence, quote or paragraph.

If Pinpoint is not playing nicely, read our information about Limitations.
Pinpoint then allows you to point to specific information on a webpage, such as a sentence, quote or paragraph, and make a comment about it. In order to add this further information to your shortened link, we need to assign your comments to your Twitter username. Don't worry, if you do not have a Twitter account, registering for one is super simple and takes seconds. Click on 'Sign in with your Twitter Account' on the top navigation bar and sign in or register. Twitter will direct you straight back to the Pinpoint website.

Once you're logged in, you'll see your Signed in status in the navigation bar (along with 'My Links').

Add a sentence, phrase or paragraph to pinpoint. Ensure that you pinpoint something which is unique on the page to which you are pointing. If you point to a single familiar word such as the, Pinpoint will point to all references of the word.
Once you've started using Pinpoint to share and pinpoint information on the web, you may wish to track how many people are clicking on your links. In My Links, we keep track of your links for future reference.
We've a ton of fresh, new features we're working on, so keep up to speed with us by following us on Twitter.
